We Mind & Kelly Matters are encouraging as many people as possible to support the 21-year anniversary for Window Widgets through their publication of the Little Pink Book of Jokes, with all monies raised going directly to this, along with another chosen industry charity.
Through advertising, e-marketing, PR and social media, Window Widgets are encouraging anyone across the industry and beyond to submit their favourite jokes by emailing jokes@windowwidgets.co.uk, visiting the landing page at www.windowwidgets.co.uk/widgetscomedy or via social media using the #WidgetsComedy hashtag. Donations can also be made at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/widgetcomedy to help generate much needed funds for very worthy charities.
We Mind & Kelly Matters was formed in 2019 and is making an impact already and up to July this year alone, 95 people of all ages have been supported with effective counselling through 139 sessions, along with the live chat facility of 294 hours under remote support. The charity continues to expand its frontline services for those suffering from mental health issues, but with little in the way of fundraising over the last 12 months, more funding is critical to help this charity to continue to flourish and so the importance of the Little Pink Book of Jokes cannot be underestimated.
John Hewitt, chairman of We Mind & Kelly Matters commented: ‘While many of us have been faced with different business challenges over the last 18 months, we all need a little light-hearted reward and this Pink Book of Jokes will satisfy that. But beyond that is the need for us to raise much needed funds to help make a difference for those suffering with mental health issues. Without the support, we cannot continue to make the difference needed and that’s why I’m encouraging everyone to back this unique and generous campaign.’
